Description
The red ochre sweeping dunes bouncing off the phthalo turquoise sea gave me quite a buzz whilst painting this one. Started off quite drab. Adding the vivid pigments created quite a punchy result.
I saw the sweep of some dunes in my mind before beginning. Marked out the sweep onto the board and continued from there.
Material:
Painted in oil on triple gesso 3/4 inch plywood I rescued from some staging. 29.5 x 25 inches.
Hanging:
To hang I have attached screws and super-strong coated wire, but this could easily be removed and a frame used if preferred.
