Description
I wanted to achieve a strong sense of high road/low road. Added wild clouds again. One of my favourite techniques. The rocks and the main tree as a foreground focus were satisfying to paint.
The big contrast on the dark loch in the far distance reminds me of some of the really deep patches of water you get in Scottish lochs.
Enjoyed painting this a lot.
Material:
Painted in oil on triple gesso 3/4 inch plywood I rescued from some staging. 29.5 x 25 inches.
Hanging:
To hang I have attached screws and super-strong coated wire, but this could easily be removed and a frame used if preferred.
